Features of The Ionic Quadcopter
Before getting into the detailed review, you will have to understand that this is a budget quadcopter. If you are looking for something amazing to happen with this one, that will be too much. On the other hand, if you want to enjoy a quadcopter with a basic camera, this is a great option to go for. The quadcopter comes in only one color and the outlook is classy. Let’s have a look at some important features of this quad.
For a 2.0 MP camera, the standard is pretty good. The images are clear and we didn’t find anyone who complained about the quality of the images. Obviously you will know what to expect with a 2 mp camera and your expectation exceeds with the model. The camera is built in with the quad and it is non-removable so there is no chance that you will upgrade it with another model. Overall, the camera is good, not awesome.
The controller is a basic remote control car controller. There is not much you can do with it apart from flying the quadcopter in four directions. The continuous roll function along with 360 degree flips are fun to do in the sky. It is very easy to use the controller which is definitely a plus. There is no screen in the controller so you will only be able to view the recordings once the quadcopter lands in ground. Overall, the controller is OK.
Ionic quadcopter has been made in a way so that you can fly it both in indoor & outdoors. The quadcopter has a range of around 50 meters up and the wind-resistant mode makes sure that you get full of it. The range is actually pretty good for a quadcopter of this price.
The quadcopter uses a pretty good 3.7V, 500mAh lipo battery. The fly time is around 10 minutes with one charging but you can buy a few separate sets of batteries to increase the fly time. The controller needs 4 AAA size regular batteries which does not come with the quadcopter. Overall, the battery scenario is fine too.

The Ionic quadcopter released in the market just before the 2015 Christmas. This was a huge hit at that time as almost everyone bought a piece as gifts. The quadcopter is actually a very good gift option for beginners. It has a bit of everything in it and that is what makes it interesting. This is not a great quadcopter if you only think about the features but if you combine everything, this is a great option to go for.
